Saturday, match 5
Jennifer Garies vs Ali Landry
By Coach26
Still angry about the match they just witnessed, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel and Josie Maran cool off in the Alba/Biel dressing room. They had been watching the match between Simpson/Dushku and Carlson/Ward from the time-keeper’s table, scouting the match. Without any help from Ward (who seemed disinterested in the match), Kelly Carlson was left to wrestle on her own. Simpson and Dushku pummeled the outnumbered blonde, repeatedly refusing to accept her submissions. An after-match confrontation between the three brunettes and Simpson/Dushku had to be broken up by security but not before a couple of punches were thrown.
“I can’t believe that bitch punched me in the face,” Biel said. “Who does she think she is? I can’t wait to get my hands on her in the ring. Jess, they don’t lose until I pin her. No submissions, no mercy. I’m going to beat her down and pin that bitch. Again.”
Josie responds, “Hey, you know, you might not even get to fight them. Me and Brittney get them next and I don’t see me letting them win that one. I know Brit starts it for us, but when I get in there, it’s all over. That blonde tramp isn’t going to just throw me around like that. We’ll see what she does when a well-conditioned competitor challenges her.”
Alba, wanting to get some control over all the steam being let off, says, “Hey, we need to relax a little. None of us can do anything about them right now.” She steps towards Biel, checking her cheek where Dushku had punched her. “Doesn’t look like you’ll even get a black eye from that little punch,” she tells her as she runs her fingers through Biel’s hair. “We have another match to concentrate on, though, and if we let Kristanna get into the ring, it could be tough. I’m getting us started in this one, though, and I’ll see to it that it’s just Sarah against us. If Loken gets in, though, keep her moving. We need to wear her down. She’s really strong, but I don’t think she’s well-conditioned enough to stay with us. Anything you can do to take the wind from her will work.” She turns to Maran and tells her, “And for you, make sure you and Brit work the tags effectively. When you have Jessica in the ring, work the right shoulder. She hurt it against me during the week. When Dushku is in, ring her bell as often as possible. She got the bad end of a fight with me last night and let’s just say that she’s probably taken all the aspirin she can today. Whatever you do, don’t let them isolate you. Keep moving and when you get chances to separate yourself from them, take advantage. Make them have to close the distance to start an offensive move. If they get you down, they’ll work really hard to keep you there.”
Maran replies, “I appreciate the advice. I’m still a little amazed at how willing you are to help.”
A little blush comes over Alba’s face, “Hey, I just don’t like to see people bully others around like that. Those two are going to get what’s coming to them.”
“After I beat them, what are we going to do if me and Brit have to fight you two?” Josie asks.
Biel answers, “We’ll just have to go out there and give the crowd the fight they want. We won’t take it easy on you and we expect you’ll try as hard as you can to beat us. That’s the name of the game. Keep it straight and we’ll see who comes out on top, right Jess?”
“Exactly,” says Alba.
Meanwhile, Simpson and Dushku are still wound up, too.
“Those annoying little bitches,” Dushku says to her partner. “I hate all three of them. I just can’t wait to tear them apart.”
Simpson nods her agreement, “I’m so glad we get the Maran girl first. She’s going to have to get into the ring with us and those other two won’t be able to help her. In fact, they’ll be right there to see us beat her down. I can’t wait to see the expression on their faces when we have her screaming in the ring. When we get them in the ring, though, we need to focus on Alba. Biel is pretty strong, but Alba’s the one we need to hurt. She’s tougher and quicker and just as strong as Biel.”
“I want Biel. That bitch stole the first match from me and I want to teach her a lesson or two,” Eliza replies.
“Don’t sweat it, girl. Once we put Alba in her place, Biel won’t know what hit her. She’s nothing without her partner.”
The competitors for our next match are in the ring, ready to go. Jennifer Garies, the 5’6 blonde beauty, bounces in her corner wearing a leopard-print bikini and black boots. Her opponent, 5’8 Ali Landry, relaxes in her corner, keeping an eye on her counterpart. Ali wears a light purple string bikini and white wrestling boots. Both women look amazing with Jennifer’s strength really apparent. Her muscular legs, while incredibly sexy, look very dangerous. In the middle of the ring, the ref has been joined by a member of the board of directors. He’s come down to the ring for an announcement before the non-tournament wrestlers get their part of the day’s events kicked off. Apparently, the ladies who aren’t part of this tournament are now going to have one of their own. At the conclusion of this tournament, another will begin with 20 women vying for the option to challenge the winner of this one for the first championship for the new league. All of these ladies had wanted to be in this tournament, but it filled up too fast. Now they’ll get a shot at their own. Already registered for the new tournament are the ladies on tonight’s card (Garies, Landry, Brooke Burke, Nikki Ziering, Kate Bosworth and Brittany Daniel). Carmen Electra and Pamela Anderson will not be involved as they will wrestle special events. Other women who are already signed up are Jordanna Brewster, Cheryl Tweedy, Jennifer Ellison, Katie Holmes and Julia Stiles. With this announcement, the women in the next tournament will be having to work with pros during the remainder of this one. It will be up to the pros as to whether each contestant will be able to participate in special-even matches from here on. Tonight’s card will be completed as planned, but next week’s is in limbo for right now.
With the announcement completed the ref checks with the wrestlers to make sure they’re ready. He gets their ok and signals the start of the match. Landry approaches the center bouncing on the balls of her feet looking more like a boxer than a wrestler. Jennifer steps towards her and looks to lock arms with her, but Ali ducks and rolls past Jennifer. Before Garies gets turned around, Landry starts a leg sweep. The blonde gets turned around just in time to be spilled to the mat. As Garies tries to get back to her feet, Ali leans into the ropes and springs off, launching into a flying drop-kick and catching Jennifer in the side of the head as she gets to a knee. Garies rolls with the kick and slides out of the ring while Ali pops back to her feet, bouncing and playing to the crowd.
Jennifer’s shows her frustration as she pounds her hands on the ring apron. She starts to get back up and into the ring, but Landry slides through the ropes, landing another drop-kick (this one more of a baseball slide) to the blonde’s head and knocking her to the concrete floor. Jennifer lands on her right shoulder and rolls into the metal divider. So far, Ali’s quickness is catching Garies off-guard. The bouncy brunette grabs a handful of blonde hair, dragging her foe to her feet. As she rises, Jennifer throws her right fist into Ali’s well-toned abs. The pain in her shoulder having sapped a lot of the strength of the punch, Jennifer’s effort doesn’t seem to affect Ali at all. She lifts the blonde in the air and slams her hard to the floor, her back making a loud smack as she hits. Jennifer arches her back, rolling to her left as Ali gets back into the ring to break the count.
Garies gets to her feet and, again, tries to get into the ring. As she gets to the apron, Ali greets her and goes for the vertical suplex. Jennifer, though, grabs the brunette by the hair and places her throat over the top rope. She jumps off the apron, forcing Ali’s throat down and then snapping her to the mat when she springs back. Larter rolls and grabs her throat as Garies finally gets back between the ropes. The brunette gets to a knee, but before she can get to her feet, Garies grabs her hair and drives her left fist into the kidney area. Ali cannot get away from the powerful blonde who continues to drive punch after punch to the kidney. After about 10 punches, Garies lifts her foe into the air and slams her across an outstretched knee in a wicked back-breaker, bouncing Ali to the mat.
As Landry hits the mat, she tries to roll to the ropes. Garies stops her, though, grabbing her bikini bottom. With Landry face down, Jennifer drives her knee into the left kidney area. She keeps this up, landing her knee on the kidney 8 times forcing pained moans from Ali each time. When she’s done, she drags Ali to her feet again, this time wrapping her arms around the tall brunette and squeezing her in a crushing bear-hug. As Ali’s legs wrap around Jennifer’s waist, the blonde rams her into the corner. She then grabs Ali’s hand and whips her out of the corner, launching her across the ring where her back slams into that corner buckle. Jennifer runs after her opponent, jumping onto her thighs and grabbing the back of her head for a monkey-flip to the center of the ring. Ali’s head droops, though, allowing Jennifer’s hands to slide off and slamming her to the mat on her shoulders and head instead.
As Jennifer lies on the mat dazed, Ali rests in the corner. She knows she need to get after the blonde, but her back is on fire. When she does get out of the corner, Jennifer is already back on her feet. She goes to lift Ali in the air, but the brunette counters, rolling her up into a small package for the pin. Jennifer gets her hand on the ropes to break the count before three, forcing Ali to break. As she breaks, Ali traps her in a front face-lock and drags Jennifer away from the ropes. Ali maintains the hold, trying to recover a little from the pounding her back took earlier. She has Jennifer’s head in her right arm as they both lay on their stomachs. Jennifer starts to get to her knees and Ali complies, leaning on the blonde and forcing her to carry the weight of both women. The hold, while not painful, is starting to wear Garies down.
Once to her knee, Jennifer feels a shift in her opponent’s hold. Ali tries to get her legs around Jennifer’s waist while maintaining the face lock. Jennifer struggles with Landry’s attempt, managing to keep her from locking her up. With all the movement going on, Garies finds an opportunity to get out of the mess she’s in and jabs a quick left to Ali’s crotch. Immediately, Ali releases the hold and covers up in the center of the ring. Jennifer seizes the momentum and drives another knee into Ali’s kidney. Landry doesn’t move her hands from her crotch until Jennifer lands a third knee to the kidney. This prompts Ali to mover her hand behind her back, allowing Jennifer to apply a hammer lock and roll her to her belly, straddling her back. She grabs the dark, sweat-soaked hair of her opponent and pulls back on her head, bending her backwards and creating pain for her in her head, back and arm all at once. Ali screams in pain as Jennifer continues to pull back on her hair, further worsening her situation before relenting after about 30-40 seconds.
Ali’s relief in being turned loose from that hold is short-lived as Jennifer presses her advantage, putting Landry in a painful camel-clutch. Ali screams again as her back has already suffered too much punishment. The ref asks if she submits drawing a brave refusal from Ali. Jennifer responds by yanking back harder on Ali’s chin, causing more pain for her back. Landry finds herself bent backwards almost at a right angle before she screams her submission. Jennifer leans close to Ali’s ear, maintaining the hold, and whispers to her, “You’re so lucky I’m in a good mood. I’ll let you off now, but if we cross paths again, no submission will save your scrawny ass.” With that, she drops Ali to the mat and accepts the victory.
