Basement: Title Showdown Queen B V Dayna the Texas Cowgirl

For Dayna, the Basement was a pleasure. She had always been an athlete
growing up. Out of college, she became a school teacher and coached several sports.
That did not quench her thirst for competition. She wasn’t in the heat of
battle. Though she loved her family, it didn’t help to have a husband and three
kids. She was out of shape and longed to be competitive again. The word went out
that a new group was starting it would be wrestling. Not like on tv, but true
competition and each match would be to the finish. there would be no time
limits, no dqs, no count outs. Any woman flagrantly breaking rules or attempting
to intentionally hurt another competitor would be dealt with severly. Dayna
arrived to tryouts. Most of the girls look like models. There were some
housewives and others from the downtrodden side of the street all trying to change
their lives. Dayna was among the ones selected. She went through the training and
began wrestling in the Basement. Within a year, she was undefeated and the
Texas Champion. With the upcoming World Championship Tournament starting, Dayna’
s supporters devised a plan to get home field advantage. Dayna would make the
cut by holding not one state title but two. They went over the champions and
selected Pennsylvania’s champion.

The Pennsylvania champion was known as Queen B. Unlike Dayna, she didn’t grow
up in the perfect family, in the perfect neighborhood, nor was she lucky
enough to be an outstanding athletes. She grew up on the tough streets of
Philadelphia. Fighting was more than a sport, it was a lifestyle. In fact, life
depended on the ability to fight. It wasn’t enough to earn what you had. You had to
fight to keep it. Something the Queen became very adept at. Like Dayna, Queen
welcomed the thought of being part of the basement. A chance to fight and not
have to worry about someone else getting even or maybe going to jail. This
would be legal mayhem. The big black woman made a huge impact at try outs and in
training developed a bad reputation. She would punish her opponents into
submission. Many quit after facing her. No one, even the men of the Basement,
wanted to face the wrath of the Queen. Even before her first Basement match she was
well known, not only in Pennsylvania, but around the Basement circuit as the
Most Dangerous Woman in the Basement. She easily defeated everyone to become
Pennsylvania’s champion, and was easily the favored woman to win the World
Title. Her only competition would come down from Texas. The Pennsylvania group had
kept an eye on Dayna. They felt that she posed some threat, mainly the
Basement buearocrats choosing her over Queen. When the Texas delegation contacted
them, they were overjoyed. Queen would eliminate, probably the only woman that
could stand in her way of being the champion. The showdown was signed.

Both sides agreed to put up the title and for the match to be held in Texas
with an outside referee. The match would be one fall. Neither side wanted their
champion injured before the tournament. They weighed in. The Queen weighed in
at 195. Dayna weighed in at 180. Reporters from around the Basement community
had come her to cover the story. When asked about Queen, Dayna smiled. "She
doesn’t know what she is in for. All of my life I have been an athlete. I know
how to train. I am on top of my game. And I have beaten these so called tough
women. Being tough doesn’t make you a winner, training and dedication does.
When I leave that ring and the Basement, I will have her belt and I will take
that fur coat of hers as my trophy." One of the Texas delegates echoed her
confidence. "Those Philly wimps will carry her big black ass out on a stretcher.
Team Philly was just as confident. Queen wasn’t worried. "I met her kind before.
She talks shit and struts around making everyone think she is all that, but
when she gets in that ring and faces someone that ain’t scared of her, she ain’
t shit. She fights for glory. What she needs to understand, I am fighting for
my life. All my life people tried to take stuff from me and a lot of them got
that ass kicked. Well she is going to try to take my belt and I promise
everyone, she will be lucky to walk out of the ring." One of her sponsers agreed.
"The Queen’s reputation is not hype and Dayna will be just another crushed
victim. To sweeten the pot the winner would automatically be entered into the
tournament. So it was winner take all

That week Dayna stayed at a fancy hotel in Dallas. She continued her training
routine and had dreams of fighting for the World title. At night, she enjoyed
the finest dining in Texas and getting messages and any other extra the
Basement would pay for. Queen wasn’t about to accept that soft experience. She
stayed in a local hotel in an area that resembled her Philly area. She needed to
remember what her life had been like. The hardships of growing up. The edge
that living to fight had given her. This was too important for her to get
distracted by fluff.

The night arrived the Pennsylvania delegation and the Texas delegation filled
the small Basement facility. In the front row, Dayna’s husband, kids, and a
few friends. The lights dimmed. Making her way to the ring first was the Philly
champ, Queen B. She strode to the ring like royalty. She wore her fur coat
and around it she wore the Pennsylvania Championship Strap. She entered the
ring. Her second removed the belt and the fur coat. The queen wore a white
designer out fit, the only luxury she afforded herself. In fact, the designer was in
the audience. He relished the thought of attiring the World champion. Then
came Dayna. What a site! She rode her black stallion to the ring and was dressed
to kill, so to speak. She wore a fancy cowgirl jacket, a pink Cowboy hat, and
chaps. her belt was slung around her shoulder. She got off and removed her
stuff. As her seconds led her horse to the back she looked the part of a champ.
She wore a pair of jeans and a western tank top. she ran her hands through
thick light brown hair and stretched. Queen never took her eye off of her.

The bell was rung. The two wasted no time and locked up. What a struggle! The
two pushed and shoved each other all over the ring to gain the advantage.
Finally, Dayna relied on her instruction and training and managed to grab a
headlock on the Queen. The Texas side cheered wildly, which brought a smile to Dayna
’s lovely face. The smile quickly disappeared and the crowd was silenced as
The Queen easily powered out. Dayna quickly turned. As she did Queen snaked
those powerful arms around her and squeezed. Dayna threw her head back and
screamed as Queen did. Then Queen stunned the Texas crowd. In all the tapes that
they had seen, Queen had never used anything other than basic moves. Queen
slammed Dayna down with a perfectly executed belly to belly suplex. The air was
knocked from her from the landing and The Queen slamming on top of her. The Queen
then pulled her up and squeezed her in a bearhug. It was apparent that the
Queen would not allow Dayna to get her breath. She was going to hurt Dayna fast
and then finish her before she would break a sweat. Dayna appeared to be
escaping the powerful squeeze, but appearances are often deceiving. As Dayna did, B
wrapped her arms around the arms of Dayna and full nelsoned her. Dayna’s eyes
grew large. Her face was full of pain and fear. Never before had anyone been
able to dominate her. Even her husband look concerned. Dayna struggled, but
her strong legs began to buckle. Her face turned red as B poured on the
pressure. Slowly she sunk to her knees. The thrill of victory was turning into the
horror of defeat tonight for Dayna. Queen released Dayna, who fell to the carpet.
The Philly group was enjoying watching the Queen destroy the once top rated
woman in American Basement competition. Queen strolled around as Dayna
struggled to get up. Grabbing that long brown her, Queen pulled Dayna between her
thick chocolate thighs and went for a standing head scissor. Dayna thrust her body
forward and sent Queen stumbling. Dayna got up. The two locked up again.
Dayna needed a breather to recoop. So, she managed to lock her arms around the
Queen. Dayna’s muscles strained as she squeezed. The Queen was shocked and in
pain. Dayna was intent on making B suffer just as she had done, before beating
her and moving on. Slowly and methodically, Dayna shifted the attack to her
full nelson. Queen struggled and tried to power out , but some how Dayna held
on. Queen knew what was happening. This was how Dayna would weaken her opponents
enough to put them in one of her most painful moves, the hangman. She may
have known it but the black woman was not in position to stop it. Dayna felt she
had sufficiently weakened the Queen. What a come back! Dayna released the full
nelson and locked up her head. Then with the Queen back to back with her, she
bent forward lifting the queen off her feet. The strain was evident on the
neck and back. The Queen fought wildly to escape. Unable to hold her, Dayna had
to release the hold. Queen dropped to her hands and knees, the pain was etched
in her face. Dayna had done what no other woman had done before, she had hurt
the Philly Champ. Queen got up. Dayna quickly followed up. She grabbed Queen
in a headlock and hammered her face with her fist. The Queen was sent
staggering around the ring. Dayna caught her. Now it was Queen’s turn. her head went
between the powerful tanned thighs of Dayna. Dayna had trouble lifting her, so
the piledriver was poorly executed. This was a break for Queen. She struggled
to get up, grimacing from the pain in her neck and back. Again Dayna applied
the full nelson. Both were covered in sweat and struggled. Queen, who’s face
betrayed her pain, to escape, and a tiring Dayna struggling to end it. The
sweat helped Queen as she began to slip free. Dayna was not about to let the Queen
escape. She released and sent her into the turnbuckle. Then Dayna ran and
leaped. She splashed the Queen. Sweat flew everywhere and the Queen sagged in the
corner. Dayna’s family began to celebrate. The Queen was done. Despite her
best efforts she had come up short. Dayna would be the Most Dangerous Woman in
the Basement. Dayna ran her hand threw her hair to clear her vision as she
locked in the headlock. She pulled The Queen out with the headlock. Then she
smashed her in the face with her fist again. The Queen staggered back into the
corner. The Philly Delegation sat their silently, hoping for a miracle. Never
before had the Queen been this close to defeat. Dayna grabbed a hand full of hair
and bulldogged the Queen to the center of the ring. She rolled her over and
laid across her chest. The ref counted. One...Two...Thr...before he could
finish the shoulder came up. Dayna looked to be nearly in tears as she sat on her
knees staring up at the ref. Frustration had sat in. No one had ever survived
the bulldog before. She drug B up and threw her through the ropes to the floor.
Dayna glared into the lights for a moment, ad if looking for inspiration.
Meanwhile, Queen had got to her knees. Dayna stepped on to the ring apron and
started to come off with a double ax handle Queen avoided it and nailed Dayna in
the face as she was coming down. The lights went out. Dayna was out on her
feet. The miracle had happened. The Texas delegation stared in disbelief. Dayna
stood there in full scream but nothing came out. Then came the move that would
stun everyone. An angry Queen yanked Dayna into position, right in front of
Dayna’s family. and tombstoned her on the floor. Her family was hysterical.
Dayna was not only going to lose but she had to be hurt. Queen struggled to pull
her back into the ring and pinned her. The match was not quite over. A few
slaps brought Dayna to, The Queen smiled and pressed each foot onto the lips of
Dayna. Dayna lay there crying. She had lost, she was hurt and had to have the
humiliation of kissing her conquerers feet. Queen grabbed the microphone. "Yo
Bitch, you picked this fight and you got beat. I took your title and you kissed
my feet." Then she buried her heel into Dayna’s stomach and walked out.

In the back the Basement officials met with the Pennsylvania officials to
finalize the entrance into the 16 woman tournament. Queen B would be given not
only a sport but one of the top spots. She had proven herself a true warrior
tonight and they would be honored if she in fact one. They announced that she
would have another fight to increase her standings in the tournament. She would
be facing Kyoko Tsunami, The Japanese Assassin, who is currently the number one
seed and is the only other undefeated fighter.

Dayna lay on the table as the doctor checked her. Fortunately, there was no
major injuries, but she would not be able to fight for awhile, which meant she
had a very little chance of earning one of the other 14 spots. Her and her
family sobbed and shared the agony of her first defeat. A defeat that had cost
her everything. She was determined to build her empire back though. Next time
she and the Queen met it would be different. For now, she would go to the
hospital for observations.
