Female Streetfighters Do Battle

It is commonly acknowledged that women who come from rough backgrounds where
their attitudes and fighting skills were honed while they were in the survival
mode growing up tend to be tough, good fighters. These girls and women don't
have the fear of getting into a fight with any other woman and don't picture
themselves being beaten by any other woman in a fight. Thus, if the women
possess the skill and physical attributes, rough background experiences and
attitudes will rule the day as far as the outcome of a fight goes.

This described both women who were going to take on each other in what turned
out to be a very tough, hard-fought match as the cute, Dolly Parton-like
shaped brunette veteran streetfighter -- 5-2, 145 lb. and 31 year-old Teresa --
faced the 5-5, 125 lb., 25 year-old short-haired blonde Russian streetfighter
Alla.

And this catfight -- which was broken into rounds to give each woman a chance
to recover from the battering they would likely received -- was a hard-fought
bout indeed!

Both women fought other women as part of their normal lives that shaped both
the way they looked at female combat and helped hone their fighting skills.

Alla, at 5-4 and 120 lbs.,  came from from Russia, where she didn't have a
lot of luxuries. Thus, her life was hard and she had to literally fight for
everything she got -- including several streetfights. Teresa, on the other hand,
came from a lower middle class neighborhood in Hazel Park where she had become
a girl streetgang leader in her teens. She had numerous fights against other
girls in her school and often went to other schools to look for more girls to
fight.

Both women indicated they loved this type of fight due to their previous
streetfighting experience. And it was good for both of them to have confidence
because in this bout a woman could only win by knockout or submission! And that
provision suited both women just fine!

Teresa was my girlfriend at the time, so I knew her very well. In assessing
the fight, I knew that Teresa was quick and tough and had actual, savage
streetfighting experience. However, due to a big cigarette smoking habit, I also
knew she lacked stamina. Plus, though she had streetfighting experience behind
her, she did not work out much and was not in good shape. She also admittedly
was lacking in the coordination department.

This is where I thought Alla just might be able to  take advantage of Teresa
and beat her as she looked in better shape than my girl and just may have may
superior stamina. And if that was true, the longer the fight went, the better
Alla's chances to beat Teresa were since Teresa might run out of gas in a
longer fight before Alla did. Teresa was the heavier girl and, if she got hurt,
she could be out-and-out savage out of sheer anger and would probably wratchet
it up several notches. But if she didn't beat Alla early and quick, I was
concerned that Alla would outlast her due to my girl's lack of stamina and then --
who knows what Alla would end up doing to her since the only way to win was
via KO or submission?

In other words, if my Teresa didn't win early, she risked getting not only
hurt and lose the fight but also getting humiliated and embarrassed along the
way!

Add to that the fact that Alla was also a tough streetfighter and you come up
with a recipe for one heckuva dust up!

Though it would be a good fight, I worried that Alla  just might beat Teresa
due to Teresa's lack of physical conditioning -- despite her fighting
experience. Having grown up in Russian, I suspected that the smaller Alla was
naturally tough, was in better shape and could take anything that my Teresa could dish
out until my Hazel Park princess ran out of gas -- which would be Alla's
opportunity to finish her off! And again, since she also had streetfighting
experience, Alla might be just as aggressive as Teresa!

Still, I knew that Teresa was a very tough woman and should not be
underestimated despite her 5-2, 148 lb. frame. Her experience as a streetfighter and her
aggressiveness and willingness to fight made her a combative female who had
to be dealt with. And her motto, "I may be a runt, but by the time we're done
you'll know I was there" indicated that, even if Alla beat her, she would have
to go through Hades to do it! Teresa would go down fighting to the end,
guaranteed, and if Alla would ultimately emerge victorious, well, it wouldn't be
easy for her!

When the fight began, the two went right after each other as each woman threw
punch and kick after punch and kick to any open part of her opponent's body.

Teresa went for Alla's smaller body and landed some huge punches to the
sternum and rib cage, but Alla made her pay for it with quick rights to the cheek
as well as to her chin and jaw which intitiated surprised and short squeals of
pain from my Teresa!

The two women had fought almost even the entire
first round and into the second as both slowly
became covered with both sweat and blood as both women bloodied each others'
nose and mouth, as well as opening up cuts above their eyes! 

It wasn't easy for me to watch my girl get hurt and take punishment like she
was. In fact, I was surprised that Alla was pummeling my girl so much! I
thought Teresa would come out and dominate, but the smaller Alla was giving an
excellent accounting of herself and bloodying my girl with great punches to her
face and head that shocked and stunned my Teresa!

But surprisingly, instead of Teresa wilting due to lack of stamina, it was
Alla who slowly seemed to weaken and tire as the match went on into the third
round. I had expected Teresa's lack of stamina to catch up with her at this
point, but the blood on both her and Alla as well as the punishment my girl was
taking seemed to enrage and energize my Teresa as she went on an assault like
none other in the third round, suddenly throwing a right to Alla's jaw that
sounded as if it broke it!

She then followed with a combination of punches
to Alla's rib cage, which was vintage Teresa, that
caused the blonde to sway to the right, then left. Finally, my Teresa landed
a hard uppercut to Alla's lower stomach that doubled the Russian woman over,
knocking the breath out of her!

Teresa turned to play to the crowd and me a little, smiling and raising her
fists in the air! This gave the woozy Alla the opportunity to notice out of the
corner of her eye the referee and was about to surrender, but Teresa was
having no part of that. After taking this much abuse, she wanted to prove she was
the better woman hands down and felt the only way she could do that was to
knock Alla out!

Teresa dove for her just as she reached the ref and then rammed her fist into
Alla's stomach, knocking her to the ground!

Teresa then began kicking Alla in the ribs, back and
stomach as the blonde rolled over and over, trying
to escape more punishment!

My Teresa then pulled Alla to her knees by the hair! Teresa then dropped to
her knees, getting eye level
with Alla! Alla tried to defend herself and punched Teresa in the stomach,
but by now the weak punch had no effect on the streetfighting veteran!

Teresa then literally laughed in her face and punched the blonde flush in her
already swollen mouth --  knocking her out cold!

I raced over to Teresa and hoisted her up in the air on my shoulders and
carried her around, giving her a special ride as the fans chanted her name while
she smiled in victory and raised her fists in the air as Alla continued to lay
to the side, still knocked out!

Teresa's survival mode that had been honed within her during her fighting
days as a streetfighting princess in Hazel Park had helped her rule the day! Even
during the toughest exchanges between the two early in the fight, there was
never any doubt or fear in Teresa that she would not win. There was no fear in
Teresa. She simply never saw herself as beatable and continued to fight until
she had won!
