Ed. Note; I am writing this match out of an agreement with my wife. If I win or lose; I am to write about what happened. She has said that I would write it even if she won. She edited spots where she thought I put myself in a better light. There are a lot of losses in my series. That is by design. I originally accounted my wins but everyone that wrote was more interested in my losses to ladies. To put it in perspective from 84 -2001; I fought about 3 dozen times a year. I have about 20 losses in my accounts over the years to women. Most of my matches I won against man or woman’ Considering the requirement of having Martial Arts training; I think that is quite a feat. Some have written asking if I like being dominated by women. The quick answer is –NO! If a lady beats me it is because of her skill and judgment. I am retired now due my recent series of trouncing by ladies. In my last 12 matches against them; I have lost 10. I am 58 considered in great shape by my speed & quickness has declined which has opened ms up to humiliations other that losing the match.

Two weeks after our second match of the Tournament. We decided we were ready for match 3.
It was three days after Christmas. A series of matches were taking place in Houston at an estate.
We agreed to participate. Our match would be the first match. We arrive on a Saturday early. We go to the brunch which was fantastic. Our match started at 2PM. We head to our Dressing Rooms to rest and change. About 30minutes before our match; we shower and dress. I wore a gold, satin thong with black pads, gloves and knee-high boots. Carol wore a silver, silk bra & thong set. She compliments this by wearing grey pads, gloves & boots. We walk down the hall and enter a large room where there are a hundred spectators. We go the Ring; aware that people are staring at us. Ginger reviewed the rules. She reminds me that Carol leads 2 -0. She also reminds me that we agreed to fight all 5 matches. Ginger signals for the ringing of the bell.
We are already in the middle of the Ring so we begin to circle one another. We are looking for openings but I see none. Carol suddenly delivers a Front Snap Kick in to my stomach I absorb the blow and step back. We continue this way until we lock up in a Collar & Elbow. We struggle for a minute before I power her against the ropes. As I push her head over the top rope to deliver a chop to the throat; She escapes and spins behind me. Carol delivers to knees to my lower back. I drop to my knees from the pain; carol applies Chin Lock and pours on the pressure. She adds a Choke hold and I struggle for breath. The crowd cheers at my dilemma. I can’t escape and begin to fade out. Carol pulls me to my feet and forces me to a corner. She powers me to my knees. Carol grabs the back of my head and slams it several times into the middle turnbuckle. I am disoriented & have a headache from the maneuver. Carol easily pulls me to my feet and sends me into the ropes, as I rebound off the ropes; She catches me with a Spin Kick that connects with my jaw. I am sent into the air; spun 180 degrees and land stunned on my face. I barely remember where I am as I lay moaning. My right leg is twitching. Carol notices the subtle twitch and knows I am in trouble. She grabs me by my hair; brings my head up waist high and slams my head into her knees several times. I fall back to the mat barely conscious. Carol positions me and applies a Sleeper-Choke Combination. I can vaguely hear the crowd scream as they see Carol knock me out. Carol stands; hand high in the air and foot on my neck. Ginger says,” The winner of the match by knockout in 9 minutes and 47 seconds is Carol. She leaves the Ring while I am carried out on a stretcher. I am taken to the Infirmary. Carol watches the rest of the matches while I sleep after being treated in the Infirmary. Carol drives while I sleep on the way home. I feel like I had been hit by a truck. I go the Doctor the next day and find the concussion I had
acquired in early December is back. Carol apologized profusely. It was the knees to the head and head into the turnbuckle that did it!
