The Year of 'La Madre'
by WrestleWifeFan
In addition to "Ms. Legs", MCW (Milf Championship Wrestling) handed out several awards each year, the most coveted and sought after being "Wrestler of the Year". As the championship could change several times over the course of a year, there was no clear indication who would win the award, usually. This year there was no doubt in anyone's mind. More surprising was her road to the crown.
My mother in law, Lisa Hernandez, had been wrestling in MCW for 10 years. She was 50 when she first started, and had an unremarkable career as a fan favorite, some might say jobber. She never had more than 6 wins in a year, and that was in 2003, her second year as a wrestler. She never ranked in the top 20, and spent most of her nights staring at the lights. A typical middle aged to senior "latina", she always stood approximately 5ft6 and weighed approximately 165 pounds. Her weight fluctuates a little, but the results typically did not. She spent most of her nights spread eagle in the center of the ring, living room, or wherever the match was held, staring at the ceiling. She was a jobber, an opponent. She was someone a champion might get some work in on to try out some new moves, or the first opponent a new woman or girl would take on when joining MCW. Her record against champions or former champions through 2011 was 0-32, and her record against girls or women in their first match was 0-79. When she did win it was usually because of a mistake her opponent made, or maybe a disqualification, but in each of her 46 wins since 2002, against 174 losses, she was jumped or beaten down after the match. Rarely did she walk back to the ring on her own power. In fact, it had become a staple of MCW television to see Lisa Hernandez, on the weeks she appeared, in her dark blue one piece bathing suit, spread eagle, out cold.
2011 was no different than any of the preceding years. In February of last year she took to wearing black thigh high stockings with her blue bathing suit, but the results were the same. During the year she lost 4 times to her niece Paula (5ft1, 135 pounds), the last match in under two minutes when Paula landed a splash off the 4th stair from the stairway in her own house. Many thought her match against Angie in December of 2011 might be her retirement match. Angie, though some 20 years younger, was nearing the end of her own legendary career. Angie's biggest problems of late had been the defeats she had suffered at the hands (and legs, and feet) of Lisa's daughter Kathy. Whereas Kathy was twice the MCW champion, her mother Lisa was not in contention, and Angie just seemed to be getting in some year end work against a fellow fan favorite. The match took place in the wrestling ring, and within three minutes or so Angie had taken over and my mother in law seemed on her way to inevitable defeat. Angie body slammed her, and she was flat on her back when Angie made her way to the corner and climbed the turnbuckle. Maybe Angie should have wrestled barefoot, because as my mother in law laid there waiting for the end, as Angie perched herself on the top rope, the perspiration from her foot and the stocking meeting the rope caused her to slip as she leaped, and as her legs gave way she fell face first down the ring, her neck clipping every rope on the way! She landed in a heap in the corner, face down, her legs still draped along the second rope. After 2 minutes of inaction, Lisa started to stir and turned to see Angie laying face down in the corner. She pushed herself to a sitting a position, and the viewers at home and fans in the arena could see at that moment, she changed. She snapped!
Her hands working quickly she began feverishly pulling her stocking down her shapely right leg. As it was removed and free she sprang up and darted as fast as a 59 year old woman could over to Angie, who was beginning to stir. Taking a page from her daughter Kathy's book, she began stomping down on Angie with her stocking-less foot, each blow driving Angie's head off the mat, yelling and screaming at her saying, according to later translations, "Don't move! Don't move!" As Angie lay prone face down on the mat Lisa violently pulled her hands behind her back and kneeling down on her spine, she used the free stocking to tie them at the wrists. Another kick to Angie's head and it seemed Lisa had victory assured. Taking more time now, she rolled the left stocking off her firm leg, and as it came free, she showed it to the crowd, which was now beginning to boo. She reached down, and tied it around Angie's neck, and pausing only a moment, pulled the knot into place! Angie was done! Lisa became someone different, an evil look in her eye, a maniacal laugh, as she began to pull and worked to drag Angie around the ring by that stocking. The laws of physics not complying, the stocking stretched and pulled on Angie's neck, until she moved a few feet from the corner and passed out. The referee had long since counted Lisa to break the choke and when she didnt had signaled for the bell and disqualified her. As Angie began to quiver under my mother in law's new found power, additional referees hit the ring to pull the stocking from her hand and to save Angie's life. After three grabbed hold of her the hold was broken. They yelled at her to return to the dressing room and she complied, but not before, passing by Angie on the way out, she planted her foot on Angie's back and raised her hands in the air. She took a stride away from Angie and, during her strut back to the dressing room, did not look back at her once. Nor did she look at the fans, who were giving her hell for what she had done.
January 2012, and fans tuned in to get an explanation from my mother in law. In her first match since the incident two weeks earlier, Allison waited in the ring eager to see what she was facing. Hell hath no fury. As the lights dimmed and the spotlight hit my mother in law as she appeared from the back, a new wrestler was born. The announcer called her name, "La Madre", the name I had used for her for years. She wore a long silver robe tied at the waist that hung behind her, and with every step you could see beautiful legs encased in tan stockings, that ran into silver high heels which showed her entire foot. Under the robe was a silver neglige, and suddenly, at 60 years of age and after 10 years of subpar wrestling, she seemed intimidating, even imposing. 1 minute and 47 seconds after the bell rang Allison was flat on her back, unconscious. My mother in law, "La Madre", did not even take off her robe. Her right foot was on Allison's head, and the right foot to the face she had used to put Allison on her back was the set up to her finishing move, The Stomp. She would walk over to her near unconscious opponent, stand over her, lift her right foot, and drive it down on her head. The natural reaction of her opponent was for her legs to flail up in the air for one brief second before flattening back to the ground. She would not even lift the foot back up, waiting instead for the referee to count.
It was the beginning of a historic year! It was the most dominant year in MCW history, from a 60 year old woman no less. She was still 5ft6, 165ish, but no longer afraid to use her weight or strength, she would be a brute force. Defeating women in under 5 minutes! When Angie came looking for revenge, the first match took La Madre, 4 minutes and 32 seconds. When Angie came down to the ring one week later to confront La Madre during an interview segment, La Madre left Angie laying face down on the ring steps in under a minute. The crowd screamed "NO!!!" as she prepared for and delivered The Stomp off Angie's head as she lay face UP on the ring step. Angie remained there unconscious, almost upside down, and no one doubted my mother in law, La Madre, was a force as she walked to the back laughing. In March, the final match of the series saw Angie start off relatively well, but within 5 minutes La Madre had taken over, and by the 10 minute mark, she had Angie tied to the ropes and was pounding her right foot into her repeatedly. When the referee untied Angie and she fell face first at La Madre's feet, the referee had no choice but to stop the match. La Madre had two wins over the former 4-time champion of the world.
In April, La Madre took on former one-time champion Hillary Goldstein. Hillary was 51 herself, but La Madre dispatched of her in 3 minutes 32 seconds. The foot to the face and Stomp finish left Hillary quivering under the silver neglige and right stockinged foot of my mother in law. It was her last match in MCW, forced into retirement by the 60 year old.
In March of 2012, all-time great Diana Vasquez came out of retirement. Diana was 60 herself, but had competed at the highest levels of MCW. She was a former 3 time champion and was third all time in wins. She got a few victories under her belt against some jobbers, Allison among them, and everyone thought La Madre's run would come to an end when she faced Diana. Wrong. The first match was in La Madre's house, and 7 minutes after it started La Madre landed the right to the face on the dazed Diana. She was out before she hit the floor, and La Madre took extra pride in waiting for an additional second, displaying her raised foot, before she drove it down into Diana. The three count was a formality. The rematch two weeks later in the ring ended with the same result. Finally, Diana challenged La Madre to a backyard brawl. While Diana showed up in Jeans and bra, La Madre wore the exact same attire out to the back yard. The woman standing after a ten count was the winner. 22 minutes of punching, backdrops and bodyslams later, my mother in law had Diana face down in the chain link fenced pen in the yard. As Diana crawled her way out of the pen, La Madre placed her foot on Diana's back holding her there, reached down and removed Diana's jeans, tossed them aside...... and slammed the gate shut. The chain link door bounced off Diana's head, and she stopped trying to crawl away. My mother in law laughed, and slammed it again. Diana instinctively bounced, or spasmed, but she did not attempt to get up. In a particularly humiliating moment, the referee stood over Diana and counted to 10, skipping the odd numbers! "4,6,8, 10... she's out!" With her foot firmly planted on Diana's neck La Madre laughed at the implication, the referee thinking he had better hurry up and count lest my mother in law administer a further beating.
I had a three match series with her throughout the summer. The first match was in a ring. She administered 'the foot" as she called it at the two minute mark and the stomp right after. The second match was in her home, where I was beaten in under a minute. For that match, she neglected to wear panties, and when her robe was removed and I was staring at her naked pussy, I could only hear her laugh before "the foot" caught me square in the face. By the time we had our third match in our house I was resigned to defeat, and she obliged with "The Stomp" in just under 4 minutes.
In November she fought her own daughter Lisa, my wife, in my house. It lasted 15 minutes only because she took her time. It started in the den but by the time she was done La Madre had dragged Lisa up to the third floor and finished her with a foot to the face and Stomp on the hard wood floors outside our own bedroom. In December her year ended as it began. Allison waited in the ring but as La Madre made her way in she was a different woman than the one who made the walk just 12 months earlier. Allison quaked as she stood and by the time my mother in law arrived in the ring the poor jobber girl was scared for her life. By the time the announcer said her name, "La Madre", Allison had conceded she had no chance, and when my mother in law walked to the center of the ring and let her robe fall to her feet, Allison, out of sheer fear, fainted, and fell face first at her feet with it. La Madre's laugh was more scornful than anything else. Her transformation was complete. She had gone from a jobber, to a woman so dominant another wrestler fainted at the site of her body and thoughts of what this 60 year old woman would do to her. The match was ruled a "submission" win for La Madre, because Allison submitted as surely as anyone ever had!
Her year was staggering! She defeated 4 former champions (Angie, Hillary, Diana, and Melissa[not covered here]), the first woman in history to accomplish the feat. She had engaged in 3 feuds and won each of them. She amassed a record of 26-0. Of her 26 wins, NO ONE was conscious when the final bell rang! 26 matches, 26 wins, 26 unconscious women! Her 26 wins was a record for one year! Her 26 knockouts also! Her 26 wins set a record for consecutive wins, crushing the old record of 19!!! She was 60 years old, and a force like no one had seen. The championship meanwhile moved from person to person, yet by the middle of the year the champions always seemed to have a reason not to face La Madre, and she seemed to have little interest in the strap. When the awards were announced though, "Wrestler of the Year" was La Madre. Not just that, "Most Knockouts" was La Madre, "Feud of the Year" was a tie, both going to La Madre for her wars against Angie and Diana. Allison fainting at her feet was named "Most Dominant Win" AND "Moment of the Year"! When Angie won "Ms. Legs" and did not come out to receive the award, La Madre did, reminding the viewers her legs were the most viewed item on MCW tv that year due to the camera panning the victims at her feet! "Most Feared Woman" was a foregone conclusion. For the first time ever, one woman won every major award. As she laughed in the ring, legs on display, no one dared come out to challenge the results, or her.
