It's not very often that I anxiously await for new femfight videos to come in the mail but this one had me checking the mail box ever since I ordered it. Pro style, in the ring, women's wrestling, done 'naked'.. wow. Ok.. we've seen similar productions before come and go, will these guys deliver the goods? Let's have a look!
Everyone is familiar with Carmen Electra. Being a fan of nake women's wrestling, she created Naked Women Wrestling League so that the women would have a safe arean to challenge each other for the top prize. With 19 gorgeous and naked women wrestlers, who had been trained by the same trainer used by Trish Stratus and Edge of the WWE, these ladies bring to the ring a new titilating aspect to wrestling. Not just wrestling but pro style naked wrestling. Awesome!
We're all familiar with GLOW and WOW productions and some people cringe at hearing those words mentioned, not because of the action but of the production work and the announcer-promoter's comments and well, not to detract from the women wrestlers in those productions, it was close but not close enough.. NWWL decided to try and take it one step further and do it much better.. Did they succeed? I think they did!
Their DVD comes with two disks, the first containing the matches and the second disk featuring their behind the scenes special and other points of interest. he behind the scenes look at the whole production. I actually found this to be entertaining. But that's not what I wanted to see, bring me the babes in the ring.
The DVD gives you the option of the full show or just the matches.. This is great because once you've enjoyed the full production show, you can come back later and hit just the matches. Make no mistake, this is a high end production in which they went all out to bring you their vision of naked women wrestling, in the ring.
Starting off with the lovely Carmen Electra welcoming the viewer from behind her headquarter's desk, she calls on the voluptious Megan Summers, the official NWWL interviewer, to interview the fighters for the upcoming matches. Oh groan you think, gah, seen this done before.. yawn.. gimme a break. But the first interview done with Spitney Beers isn't too shabby, it's a bit comical and campy which is what you would expect but the interview with her opponent, the Princess of Pain will have you chuckling and drooling at the same time. Babes.. all babes.. especially the Princess.. something super sexy about dangerous gorgeous women! The way she treats her slave man is hilarious.. (good acting on his part.. well done! or was it acting?)
Out to the ring for the first match and here we go, the announcers. Face it folks, we're not here to see them guys.. but they are an integral part of the show no matter what and they can make, or break a production if their annoying and moronic banter ruin the show. Luckily for us, the main host is quite knowledgeable and his side kick, an English professor do a good enough job, adding to the show, not taking from it like other productions. You know what I mean, I am sure! The ring side is done up quite nicely, and well presented, properly lit which means you're going to see a lot of the action. The crowd is well represented with lively characters. The ref is the only dressed woman in the ring. And even SHE does a good credible job as a ref. Mean looking as well, I don't think too many people will argue with this ref!
On with the matches..
There are 7 matches in all on this DVD set, with a lot of in between battles and cat fights in the locker rooms during interviews. Of the matches, some stand out more than others and most of the women (naked) show their skills and abilities (and a lot more! I do mean naked!!). Some of characters leave more to be desired while other are completely awesome, you want to see more of them.
Notable characters are : Princess of Pain, Cruella Bleeds, Dark Angel, Layla Hussein and Harriet Bush, Ninja Chops and Becky Brady and finally Wicca.. This is not to take away from the other ladies but hey, what can I say, I have my preferences =)
Most of the matches are very well done and hard hitting.. Certainly better than the latest WOW renditions. The hip tosses, arm drags and snap mares are authoritative and executed with precision in most of the matches. I won't fluff the action up saying it's perfect and spot on the mark every single time but suffice to say the women put a lot of effect into it and the training they recieved shows. Some of the power holds and manouvers will blow your mind away, such as the romeo hold, cross shoulder back breaker and cross knee back breaker were very well done (my favs of course!) In the Tag Team match, one of the best Row Boats is seen performed in such a way I'd never seen before. These women are in shape, are highly flexible and make it all look hot. Gorgeous!!
I certainly hope to see NWWL come out with a new release sometimes soon.. Needless to say that what they learned on this run will certainly be applied to the next production and make it even better, if thats even possible. I know I'll be in line for the next DVD for sure, based on this one.

I truely enjoy this DVD.. I've actually rewatched it several times as I really enjoy it. Look, for the price they are asking, you're getting 19 naked gorgeous babes, in the ring performing favourite pro holds. Good premise, good story lines and a fine list of characters, this DVD is definetly one of my favs. It's smartly put together, well presented and has enough meat to satisfy the hungriest of Pro Women wrestling fans. And these are naked and gorgeous with skills.
I'm giving these guys the big 10 Star vote. Great action at an exceptional value, you simply can't go wrong. Check out their site and check out their sample videos for a taste of the action. It's about time someone finally did this theme right, and looks like Carmen did it well. I can only wait with anticipation to see what else they will come up with next!!
