Recently I had the pleasure of viewing a match from Quisha's newly formed video company, "Amazonian Women Wrestling". The video I viewed was SV-6, Quisha vs Dahlia. I must admit that much of the material I have viewed over the years has been disappointing to me, with the exception of some very well done matches. As I sat down to watch SV-6, I must confess that I had some doubts as to whether or not I would find this tape entertaining. Well, within moments of the opening bell I knew this was not your average match. Allow me to go into detail briefly.
The video starts with some introductions of the ladies, Dahlia first, then Quisha. This was the first time I had seen Dahlia and I must say she is an incredibly attractive woman. She plays the part of an evil heel, and makes it clear that her intentions are to kick Quisha's ass in the ring. She attacks Quisha during her interview, and the action never really slows down from that point. The fighting starts with both girls wearing dresses, but Quisha is quickly stripped of her's, showing off the voluptuous body she has become famous for. Dahlia beats her for a few minutes outside the ring, before tossing the slightly overwhelmed Quisha into the ring. From that point the battle gets quite furious with Dahlia really dominating Quisha from the opening moments.
If you are looking for a scientific style match with an abundance of intricate holds and moves, this is not the one for you, even though there is a fair amount of scissor and choking type holds with a few pro holds thrown in for good measure. But if you like hard hitting intense action, you won't be disappointed. I'm certain that at the end of this one both girls had some serious aches and pains. The punches land with authority as do the kicks, but perhaps what surprised me most was the throwing and hard impact maneuvers displayed by both girls. At about the mid point of the match, Quisha nails Dahlia with a neck breaker that had me wincing as I watched. I'm not sure how hard Dahlia actually took the hit, but she did appear to be stunned from the blow. Another moment that stands out in my mind is when Quisha gets flipped off the top turnbuckle onto her back. She actually bounces from the impact! These are only two of the many brutal hits these two lovely ladies take in this violent match. Slaps echo with stinging authority as do many of the other hits, kicks and stomps.
The match also has a very strong pro-style flavor with many moves and antics seen in the big wrestling leagues today. I was actually very surprised to see moves like Suplex's and clotheslines during the course of the battle, both of which were performed quite well. The ending, which I will choose not to divulge, ended in classic pro fashion that brought a smile to my face. In my eyes it appears that Quisha has made a genuine effort to put out a product that is well done and is not afraid to take some bumps and bruises to achieve that goal.
My opinion of the video? In all honesty I enjoyed it greatly and feel it worthy of 7 stars out of 10". So if your looking for a video that delivers good fast action from start to finish, consider adding this one to your collection, and keep an eye on Quisha's new company...the future looks bright.
